Introducers: Letting Agents and Property Accountants
Last Updated: August 2026
Featured in The Telegraph • Daily Mail • The Times • Sky News
I work with letting agents and property accountants whose clients are landlords. If a landlord you look after needs buy to let finance, pass them to me and I will take it from there. You pass on a name and a number, I do the rest, and I pay an introduction fee on cases that complete. Terms are agreed in writing before we start.

Working together
How an introduction works
1
Step 1
You introduce
Pass on a name, a phone number and a line about what your client needs, with their permission. Nothing more is required of you.
2
Step 2
I make contact
I call your client, usually the same working day, explain their options and tell them what my advice costs before they commit to anything.
3
Step 3
I run the case
I handle the research, the application, the lender and the paperwork through to mortgage offer. Your client deals with me throughout, not a call centre.
4
Step 4
You get paid
Once the mortgage completes, your introduction fee is paid on the terms we agreed in writing at the start.
About
How it works.
Why introduce to HTG?
Most landlords now need help refinancing rather than buying. UK Finance counted 39,160 buy to let remortgages in the first quarter of 2026, up 11.1% on a year earlier, while buy to let purchases fell 14.9%. If you look after a book of landlords, a good number of them have a rate ending within the year.
Rate Ending Soon
A flat £350 fee for your client, payable only once their mortgage offer is issued
Rental Cover Shortfalls
You pass on a name and a number. No advising, no pre-qualifying, no paperwork at your end
Releasing Equity
The introduction fee and the terms are agreed in writing before we start

What I do for your clients
I am an independent, whole-of-market broker based in Winchester, and buy to let is most of what I do. That includes the cases high street lenders tend to struggle with: limited company and SPV purchases, portfolio landlords with four or more mortgaged properties, first time landlords, and consumer buy to let for people who never planned to let a property at all. Your client deals with me from the first call through to completion.
Who this works well for
This tends to work best if you are an independent letting agent with a managed book of landlords, a sales and lettings firm with no in-house mortgage arm, an accountant advising landlords on incorporation or on holding property personally versus in a company, or a block manager whose clients own rental property.
